Was not protected under VAWA as a victim of domestic violence. I communicated with Riverwalk clearly about my situation and moved out, tried to submit the DV form and police reports which they refused to look at, said I owed a full months rent(I didnât have it yet cause I just fled my abuser) and when I did find a program willing to help me take care of that to be removed from the lease shortly after, Riverwalk told me the amount is doubled, which they never communicated this was going to happen while I was staying in touch with them trying to take care of it. They then evicted me even though I wasnât there and I tried to pay it they said to speak to their attorney Titan Legal. So I explained everything to Titan Legal and was possibly able to pay off $3000 instead of $4000, but they raised it to $8000. I applied for Utah Legal Services and ultimately Titan Legal was charging me $14,000 and we only got it down to $10,000. I have to pay $10,000 and Iâm homeless because Riverwalk refused to accept the original amount that they clearly communicated with me. Now the person I lived with who was also on the lease, doesnt have to pay anything, they came after a survivor of domestic violenceð

The leasing office was amazing from start to finish. The team was incredibly helpful and patient, especially when I had what felt like a million questions. They were friendly, professional, and made the entire process simple and stress-free. Move-in was one of the smoothest experiences Iâve ever had. On move-in day, all I had to do was pick up my keysâeverything else was ready to go. The apartment was exceptionally clean, honestly one of the cleanest Iâve ever moved into. There was no damage, no paint splatters, and everything was in great condition. Iâm truly impressed with both the cleanliness of the apartment and the outstanding service from the front office staff.

Riverwalk is an amazing place to live! The move in experience I had was hands down the best ever, and Iâve lived in several apartments/rental homes. The folks that work there are all incredibly nice, patient, and genuinely care. The property is so well kept, landscaped beautifully, the amenities are awesome, and itâs right next to Jordan River Park! Oh! Also pet friendly ð Love being here ð©·
